The VK598 Standard Response Upright Storage Sprinkler is FM approved for use in dry or preaction systems to protect Class I-III commodities with storage heights of up to 40 ft (12,2 m) in warehouses as high as 45 ft(13,7 m). The nominal 25.2 K-factor provides required water delivery at lower pressures to protect higher ceiling and storage heights wihtout the need for in-rack sprinklers. The VK598 is also approved for use with open frame rack, solid piled, palletized, and bin box storage configurations, with a maximum sprinkler spacing of 10 x 10 ft (3 x 3 m).
