Viking's Freedom° Model VK480 4.0 (58) K-factor residential, flat plate concealed, horizontal sidewall sprinkler delivers the installation advantages of a horizontal sidewall sprinkler fully concealed behind a flat cover plate in a residential application. The VK480 is cULus listed for up to 16 x 18 ft (4.9 x 5.5 m) coverage areas with water flow and pressure requirements that are competitive with a standard recessed sidewall sprinkler. The VK480 is available in 165 °F (74 °C) or 205 °F (96 °C) temperature ratings and Brass or Nickel PTFE (ENT) finishes and can be ordered with a pipe guide included or no pipe guide included. The optional Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coating has been investigated for installation in corrosive atmospheres and is listed/approved as corrosion resistant.
